Digital Sales SSP Laser - Business Planning

About the role

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is hiring for a Digital Sales SSP Laser position in Barcelona, focused on business planning. The role is hybrid, with an average of 2 days per week working from an HPE office. It defines, manages and evaluates business plans so they are operationally executable against strategic objectives, and works with cross-functional teams to build short-term plans and data-driven models.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct and summarize complex data and business analyses to develop business plans, including revenue and demand projections, workforce optimization and channel management.
• Build statistical and financial models with minimal direction to forecast business performance.
• Define the metrics needed to measure performance and compare actual data with forecasts.
• Run market research projects, gather intelligence on industry, technology and consumer trends, and summarise findings for business needs.
• Work with cross-functional teams on data collection and performance measurement, escalating issues as necessary.
• Contribute to research and analysis on priority projects within established guidelines.

Required profile

• Typically 2-4 years of experience in strategy, planning, operations, finance or a related functional area.
• First-level university degree.
• Demonstrated knowledge of research methodology and the ability to manage data requests.
• Strong analytical thinking, technical analysis and data manipulation skills, and ability to learn new analytical techniques.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, and developing project management skills.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of Excel, Access, statistical analysis and financial modeling.
• Demonstrated business acumen and technical knowledge in the area of responsibility.
