Director Project Management

About the role

AEG Power Solutions is seeking an experienced Director of Project Management to lead its Project Management function at the Vitoria manufacturing site. This senior leadership position combines strategic oversight with hands‑on execution to ensure multiple concurrent projects align with the company’s business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of 10–15 project professionals, fostering a high‑performance culture.
• Define roles, responsibilities, and career development plans within the PM organization.
• Oversee the full portfolio of manufacturing and industrial projects at the Vitoria site.
• Monitor project performance across timeline, cost, quality, and risk dimensions.
• Establish governance frameworks, reporting standards, and resource allocation processes.
• Identify risks proactively and lead mitigation strategies at the portfolio level.
• Act as the main interface with senior leadership, communicating status, risks, and strategic recommendations.
• Introduce best practices such as Lean, Agile, and Industry 4.0 to drive standardisation and efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in project management, preferably within industrial or manufacturing environments.
• Proven track record of leading large, multi‑disciplinary project teams.
