Equity Research VP – Consumer Sector

About the role

Santander Corporate & Investment Banking is seeking an Equity Research VP to cover European companies in the Consumer sector. Based in Boadilla del Monte, you will provide investment ideas to institutional investors and help shape the firm’s research offering.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse the Consumer sector and identify key trends.
• Build and maintain financial models for companies under coverage.
• Produce insightful, well‑structured research reports.
• Establish and nurture long‑term relationships with investors and corporate contacts.
• Deliver timely investment ideas and market commentary.

Required profile

• 3–7 years of experience as an equity analyst or in a similar research role.
• Graduate degree in Economics, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field.
• Fluent English (written and spoken) and strong communication skills in Spanish.
• Personable, team‑oriented professional with a proactive attitude.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel, Word and PowerPoint proficiency.
• Experience with Bloomberg, FactSet and other market data platforms.
• Familiarity with AI‑driven research tools.
