Field Service Engineer - Campo de Gibraltar

About the role

GE Healthcare is looking for a Field Service Engineer in the Campo de Gibraltar area. You will be responsible for repairing and maintaining all equipment models specific to a modality or modalities in your assigned area, while building strong relationships with customers and keeping them satisfied.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain all models specific to a modality in the assigned area.
• Perform full system-level troubleshooting on complex, multi-symptom problems.
• Communicate clearly with end-users and department managers about equipment status.
• Assist in account sales visits, help train others and share sales opportunities with the account team.
• Contribute to the growth and direction of business in the geographic area.
• Control warranty and PMS contract costs.
• Complete administrative tasks on time, such as FMI and PMS inspection documentation.
• Take a leading role in complex, multifunctional rooms, share best practices and maintain quality systems compliant with ISO 9001.

Required profile

• Qualified technician or engineer, or equivalent professional experience in medical devices; field service experience is an advantage.
• Fluent English.
• Valid driving licence and active driving experience.
• Ability to work independently with high standards, and a customer-oriented approach.
