About the role

Join EDP’s Corporate Finance team to support the global execution and optimisation of Supply Chain Finance (SCF) instruments. The role focuses on improving working capital and cash‑flow management across multiple geographies while collaborating with internal functions and external banking partners.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day operations of SCF programmes (reverse factoring, dynamic discounting, payables finance) across the Group’s platforms.
• Coordinate onboarding of suppliers with banking partners and ensure smooth operation of SCF facilities.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date view of open SCF positions, financing costs and maturity dates.
• Prepare cash‑flow forecasts that incorporate SCF activity and support liquidity planning.
• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reporting tools for real‑time SCF performance visibility.
• Produce periodic reports and financial notes for management, parent‑company reporting and annual accounts.
• Support budgeting and long‑term financial planning with accurate SCF cost projections.
• Act as the SCF focal point for Procurement, Accounting, Legal and Treasury, ensuring alignment with contractual terms.
• Collaborate with Accounting to book and disclose SCF arrangements under IFRS/GAAP.
• Explore new SCF instruments and payment alternatives while ensuring compliance with Group policies and regulatory standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics or Business Administration (MBA, master’s in management or advanced finance degree a plus).
• 1‑3 years of experience in corporate or trade finance, treasury or a similar role.
• Experience in the energy sector is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and IFRS accounting principles.

Required skills

• Power BI for dashboard creation and reporting.
• Proficiency with SAP and Treasury Management System (TMS) platforms.
• Familiarity with Bloomberg terminal.
• Knowledge of IFRS and GAAP accounting standards.
