Frontend Software Developer – Build Modern Web Interfaces

About the role

As a Frontend Software Developer you will create and optimise modern, responsive user interfaces for KISTERS' web applications. You will work closely with UX/UI designers to turn intuitive designs into high‑performance, accessible front‑ends that handle real‑time data.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive UI components using HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Implement features with Angular (or Lit/React) and ensure cross‑browser compatibility.
• Integrate backend RESTful APIs and manage state with solutions such as Redux or Vuex.
• Collaborate with designers, product owners and backend teams in an agile environment.
• Conduct code reviews, write unit and end‑to‑end tests (Jest, Cypress) and follow CI/CD best practices.
• Continuously improve existing frontend components and documentation.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Media Informatics or a comparable qualification.
• Proven experience with modern frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript).
• Solid knowledge of Angular or similar frameworks (Lit, React).
• Experience with state‑management libraries (Redux, Vuex) and RESTful API integration.
• Comfortable using Git and common development tools.
• Familiarity with agile methods and good English communication skills.
