Fullstack Software Engineer

About the role

Codeway builds consumer AI apps on mobile and web at global scale, with 600M+ downloads and 60+ apps, and supports 400+ builders across Barcelona and Istanbul. It is looking for a Fullstack Software Engineer to join its team and work on web projects covering both back-end and front-end.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze, implement and deliver new features while monitoring and maintaining them to deliver high-quality software.
• Own your work end-to-end, taking full accountability and improving the product.
• Stay curious about emerging technologies and trends, and continuously improve your technical skills.
• Ensure code quality through code reviews and raise company-wide standards.

Required profile

• B.Sc. in Computer Science or a similar discipline.
• Junior-mid level, 1 to 5 years of experience.
• Good communication and collaboration skills in English, able to work in a team.

Required skills

• Node.js and JavaScript, HTML and CSS, with frameworks such as Vue or React.
• RESTful API design and implementation.
• Version control (e.g. Git).
• Unit and integration testing.
• Nice to have: Google Cloud products (Pub/Sub, Functions, App Engine), Vue3 and Firestore, and caching strategies (Redis, Memcached).
