About the role

As a Global Key Account Manager you will lead the implementation and delivery of complex, client‑specific projects worldwide for SGS Business Assurance. You will ensure contractual obligations are met, exceed client expectations where possible, and drive new revenue opportunities within existing accounts.

Key responsibilities

  • Own the management of global programs, ensuring successful implementation and delivery of diverse client projects.
  • Develop and maintain close relationships with Business Assurance managers and technical teams across regions.
  • Prepare, maintain, and communicate Global Key Account (GKA) client plans in line with global agreements.
  • Translate contract requirements to operational and technical teams to guarantee smooth service execution.
  • Design and execute a sales strategy to achieve organic growth targets within existing GKAs.
  • Report performance, trends, and outcomes to senior management at defined intervals.
  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities within current GKAs.

Required profile

  • Proven experience managing global key accounts or large‑scale international projects.
  • Strong ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams and align them to contract requirements.
  • Demonstrated track record of developing and delivering sales strategies that generate growth.
  • Excellent reporting and analytical skills to present performance insights to senior leadership.

Required skills

  • Knowledge of sustainability assurance standards such as CSRD, GHG, ESG.
  • Familiarity with medical device regulatory frameworks (IVDR, ISO 13485).
  • Understanding of supply‑chain assurance tools (SMETA, SCAN).
  • Experience with digital trust standards (ISO/IEC 27001, ISO/IEC 42001).
