Head of IT

About the role

1inch is a leading DeFi ecosystem seeking a Head of IT to own and improve its corporate IT environment. The role ensures that employees across a global organisation can work securely, efficiently and with minimal friction, while driving innovation through AI‑enabled tools.

Key responsibilities

• Own the internal IT service management setup, including request handling, incident management, prioritisation and SLA tracking.
• Provide timely, high‑quality support for workplace technology and access‑related needs.
• Define and improve support processes, service catalogues and internal documentation.
• Maintain the corporate IT landscape – end‑user tools, identity and access, collaboration systems and workplace technology.
• Develop and execute a roadmap for tool standardisation, lifecycle management and process automation.
• Ensure core internal systems are reliable, secure and aligned with business requirements.
• Oversee procurement, provisioning, tracking and lifecycle management of devices and equipment.
• Manage onboarding, role changes and off‑boarding through effective equipment and access processes.
• Maintain an accurate IT asset inventory and clear ownership records.
• Define hardware standards and replacement cycles in line with operational and budget needs.
• Manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers, including selection, renewals and performance reviews.
• Support IT budget planning, cost control and licence optimisation across the corporate IT stack.
• Drive adoption of AI tools to improve productivity while establishing secure, compliant usage guardrails.

Required profile

• Hands‑on execution mindset with the ability to build structure, standards and a long‑term roadmap.
• Proven experience collaborating with cross‑functional teams such as People, Security, Finance, Legal and department leads.
• Strong focus on security, reliability, innovation and cost optimisation.
