Head of Pricing

About the role

Fever, a tech platform for culture and live entertainment, is looking for a Head of Pricing in Madrid. The role owns the pricing vision and roadmap for the platform, which currently manages prices across concerts, exhibitions, live sports, game centres and theme parks. It is a hands-on builder role working day to day with data science, engineering and business teams.

Key responsibilities

• Own the pricing solutions vision and roadmap for live entertainment sectors and experiences
• Define the portfolio of pricing solutions per sector: price structures, levers and algorithms, and when each applies
• Extend pricing to new sectors with a repeatable approach, including trade-offs agreed with business owners
• Act as the pricing reference for commercial, partnerships and marketing, explaining strategies to stakeholders
• Work with data science on demand and elasticity, challenging how models are built and judging whether results hold up in business
• Shape how price experiments are designed, measured and interpreted
• Set standards for transparency and fairness in pricing, working with legal and commercial

Required profile

• Deep expertise in pricing or revenue optimisation in a consumer business, with accountable successes
• Knowledge of pricing approaches such as elasticity estimation, demand forecasting, constrained optimisation, bandits and causal methods
• Experience shaping pricing products or solutions and pricing across different business models and markets
• Fluent in experimentation and able to defend a pricing strategy under commercial pressure

Nice to have

• Experience pricing perishable inventory (events, travel, hospitality, attractions)
• Technical and scientific experience answering pricing optimisation questions
• Exposure to consumer pricing transparency and fairness regulation
