Hotel Technical Services Officer

About the role

We are looking for a Technical Services Officer to ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of all hotel installations and equipment at Barceló Margaritas in Las Palmas. The role combines routine checks, preventive actions and quick corrective interventions to guarantee guest comfort and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect and verify the proper functioning of all hotel facilities, machinery and technical systems.
• Ensure that equipment is used correctly and that maintenance is performed to the highest standards.
• Follow the directives of supervisors and adhere to the company’s quality standards.

Required profile

• Medium‑level vocational training in Maintenance (Ciclo Formativo Medio).
• At least 2 years of experience in preventive and corrective maintenance within a hotel environment.
• Valid driving licence (category B) and own vehicle.
• Team‑oriented attitude with good communication and analytical abilities.

Required skills

• Preventive maintenance of hotel equipment.
• Corrective maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Legionella control and pool maintenance (preferred).
