Hotel Valet – Guest Services

About the role

The Valet will support the housekeeping and front‑of‑house teams at Barceló Lanzarote Mar by handling laundry, supplies and basic guest‑area upkeep. This on‑site position ensures rooms are ready for new guests and that common areas stay clean and well‑stocked.

Key responsibilities

• Collect the room rack to monitor departures across the hotel.
• Assist floor staff in removing dirty laundry from departing rooms.
• Count clean garments received daily from the external laundry service.
• Transport clean laundry to each floor and distribute it accordingly.
• Inspect floors and replenish missing products.
• Remove dirty laundry from departure carts and empty the carts.
• Prepare twice‑weekly orders of amenities and stationery, signed by the housekeeper.
• Follow housekeeper instructions to wash carpets, clean high areas, mirrors, glass, hotel signage and exterior surfaces.
• Collect waste from each floor and dispose of it in the designated location.
• Carry out extra cleaning tasks and maintain organized storage areas.

Required profile

• Basic education (primary level).
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role.
• Clean, orderly and reliable personal habits.
