HSEQ Supervisor – EPC Renewable Projects

About the role

The Site HSEQ Supervisor ensures that all on‑site activities performed by subcontractors comply with the company's Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) standards, legal requirements, and client specifications. Working closely with the Site Manager, the role provides hands‑on HSEQ guidance throughout civil, mechanical, electrical, and commissioning phases of renewable energy projects.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct daily safety supervision of subcontractor work, verify compliance with RAMS, JHA, and PTW procedures.
• Manage the Permit‑to‑Work system for high‑risk tasks such as work at height, excavations, crane lifts, and high‑voltage operations.
• Lead incident, near‑miss, and minor accident investigations, produce reports and define corrective actions.
• Ensure all personnel hold required training, qualifications, and use appropriate PPE; deliver toolbox talks and HSEQ meetings.
• Oversee quality control: material inspections, process controls, testing, commissioning checks, and issue/track NCRs with root‑cause analysis and CAPA.
• Coordinate joint inspections with clients and subcontractors at hold and witness points defined in ITPs.
• Supervise environmental compliance, monitor waste segregation, and enforce site environmental procedures.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising HSEQ on EPC construction sites, preferably in renewable energy projects.
• Strong knowledge of legal HSEQ requirements, client specifications, and industry best practices.
• Ability to work closely with site management and subcontractors to enforce safe and quality‑driven execution.
