Independent Financial Adviser

About the role

A leading British financial advisory firm based in Marbella, Spain, specialises in holistic financial planning for expatriates across the EU and Switzerland. It is recruiting an experienced Independent Financial Adviser to work with expatriate clients in a flexible, autonomous role within a supportive team.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert financial advice tailored to individual client goals and circumstances
• Carry out detailed financial assessments and build customised financial plans
• Advise on investment strategies, retirement planning, estate planning and tax optimisation
• Generate new business through networking, referrals and marketing
• Build and maintain long-term client relationships
• Follow up on leads, manage objections and close new business
• Keep up to date with industry trends, regulatory changes and best practice

Required profile

• At least three years of client-facing experience in wealth management or life insurance advisory
• Recognised investment qualifications such as CISI, CII or equivalent
• Proven experience as an Independent Financial Adviser
• Fluency in English; Spanish, German or French is an advantage
