IT Support Specialist – Hotel Santa Catalina (Canarias)

About the role

The Hotel Santa Catalina in the Canary Islands is looking for an IT Support Specialist to provide on‑site technical assistance and ensure the smooth operation of all IT systems across the property.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑level technical support to hotel staff, both remotely and on‑site, handling hardware, software, printer and mobile device incidents.
• Manage ticketing requests, prioritize and follow up on incidents, and maintain accurate documentation.
• Configure, install and update operating systems and software on employee workstations.
• Maintain the inventory of all IT equipment and keep network documentation up to date.
• Monitor and maintain the hotel’s network infrastructure, ensuring continuous connectivity.
• Configure network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls and wireless access points.
• Implement network security policies and data‑protection solutions.
• Support IT tasks related to hotel openings and conduct periodic visits to hotel sites.
• Collaborate with the Central IT team and other internal IT areas (PMS, Technical, CAU) as needed.

Required profile

• Proven experience in delivering first‑level IT support, preferably in a hospitality environment.
• Ability to work on‑site at hotel locations and travel periodically between properties.
• Strong coordination skills to work with central IT teams and other internal departments.
