About the role

The Sector Manager will oversee the food and beverage operations at Barceló Margaritas, ensuring high-quality service and smooth daily workflow. This position reports to the maître and works closely with the service team to maintain standards of hygiene, presentation, and guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and intervene in the delivery of food and beverage services (restaurants, bars, etc.).
• Plan shifts, allocate resources, and control stock levels.
• Organise table assignments for waitstaff and monitor their performance.
• Correct staff actions, solve problems, and ensure a clean, hygienic environment.
• Control mise en place, take orders, and report any quality or presentation issues to the maître.

Required profile

• Vocational training (medium or higher level).
• Minimum 1 year experience as a waiter or in a similar supervisory role.
• High proficiency in English; additional language (French or German) desirable.
• Strong organisational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Capability to manage and motivate a team.
