About the role
As a Junior Key Account Manager – Convenience you will turn commercial strategy into measurable sales results in a fast‑moving FMCG environment. Working remotely from Spain, you will support the development and execution of business plans for convenience partners, ensuring flawless in‑store execution and contributing directly to growth and profitability.
Key responsibilities
- Drive sales and profit against Annual Operating Plan (AOP) targets.
- Support the creation and rollout of customer business plans, aligning Hero’s objectives with convenience partners.
- Analyse data, trends and shopper insights to identify sales opportunities and improve category performance.
- Collaborate with Field Sales and internal teams to ensure promotions, displays and local initiatives are executed perfectly.
- Contribute to forecasting, demand planning and trade‑spend management.
- Participate in customer meetings, market visits and business reviews to build trusted relationships.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Economics or related field (Master’s a plus).
- 2–3 years of experience in Key Account Management, Trade Marketing or Category Management, with at least 1 year in FMCG.
- Strong analytical mindset, comfortable working with numbers and trends.
- Customer‑first attitude with the ability to balance strategic thinking and hands‑on execution.
- Detail‑oriented, autonomous and able to take full ownership of responsibilities.
- Fluent Spanish (C2) and strong English (B2‑C1) communication skills.
