Junior Software Developer

About the role

SistelGroup, a leader in system integration for the life‑sciences industry, is seeking a motivated Junior Software Developer. You will work alongside senior engineers on digital applications that drive Industry 4.0, data integration and IT/OT convergence in industrial manufacturing.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in designing, developing and maintaining digital applications and systems.
• Write clean, efficient, well‑structured code following best practices.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to understand requirements and propose solutions.
• Perform testing, debugging and troubleshooting to ensure software reliability.
• Participate in code reviews and help raise development standards.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends related to digital manufacturing.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Telecommunications or a related field.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem‑solving abilities and eagerness to learn.
• Professional proficiency in English and good collaboration skills.

Required skills

• Programming languages: Python, C#, Java, JavaScript, LUA.
• Relational databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server.
• NoSQL database: MongoDB.
• Version control and development tools: Git, Agile/Scrum methodologies.
