About the role
SistelGroup, a leader in system integration for the life‑sciences industry, is seeking a motivated Junior Software Developer. You will work alongside senior engineers on digital applications that drive Industry 4.0, data integration and IT/OT convergence in industrial manufacturing.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in designing, developing and maintaining digital applications and systems.
- Write clean, efficient, well‑structured code following best practices.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to understand requirements and propose solutions.
- Perform testing, debugging and troubleshooting to ensure software reliability.
- Participate in code reviews and help raise development standards.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends related to digital manufacturing.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Telecommunications or a related field.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem‑solving abilities and eagerness to learn.
- Professional proficiency in English and good collaboration skills.
Required skills
- Programming languages: Python, C#, Java, JavaScript, LUA.
- Relational databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server.
- NoSQL database: MongoDB.
- Version control and development tools: Git, Agile/Scrum methodologies.
