Mechanical Design Engineer

About the role

DIS/CREADIS Spain is expanding its Mechanical Solutions & Services team. The role offers the chance to work on technically demanding projects for clients in renewable energy, defence, themed entertainment and industrial manufacturing, collaborating with international engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical solutions from concept through detailed design.
• Create 3D models and produce technical documentation.
• Integrate mechanical systems and equipment into larger assemblies.
• Support testing, validation and design verification activities.
• Ensure solutions meet performance, safety and quality requirements.
• Collaborate with clients and cross‑functional international teams.
• Participate in technical reviews and communicate recommendations.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers (senior profiles).

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Aerospace.
• Junior level (0‑3 years): strong technical fundamentals, curiosity and motivation to learn.
• Mid‑level (3‑7 years): ability to work independently, own design tasks and contribute to engineering decisions.
• Senior level (7+ years): technical leadership, system‑level understanding and experience working directly with customers and stakeholders.
