MEP Engineer – AI Data Center Projects

About the role

We are seeking a motivated MEP Engineer to support the technical evaluation and delivery of large‑scale AI‑focused data centre projects in Spain. You will work across mechanical and electrical disciplines, gaining exposure to mission‑critical infrastructure design and development.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical analysis for mechanical and electrical aspects of AI data centre projects.
• Support due‑diligence activities for prospective sites, colocation facilities and build‑to‑suit opportunities.
• Prepare calculations, equipment comparisons and engineering summaries for risk assessments.
• Evaluate cooling systems, power distribution solutions and infrastructure options against site conditions.
• Contribute to Go/No‑Go assessments and document design assumptions, specifications and readiness criteria.
• Track equipment availability, vendor constraints, technical assumptions and cost impacts.
• Help create and maintain technical standards, checklists, templates and evaluation processes.
• Collaborate with consulting engineers, vendors and internal teams throughout project development.

Required profile

• 2‑5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, MEP design or related fields.
• Strong interest in mission‑critical infrastructure and AI data centre environments.
• Ability to work in an evolving, fast‑moving international setting.
• Comfortable collaborating with senior engineers and cross‑functional stakeholders.
