Museum Host – Visitor Services

About the role

Join the vibrant team at Moco Museum in London as a Museum Host. You will be the first point of contact for visitors, creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a memorable experience that encourages repeat visits and word‑of‑mouth promotion.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and assist visitors, providing information on exhibitions, museum services and local attractions.
• Sell and scan tickets, promote audio‑tour upgrades and handle cashless transactions.
• Monitor gallery areas to protect artworks, ensuring visitors do not touch or endanger pieces.
• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness throughout the museum space.
• Distribute brochures, flyers and support special events or private tours.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures and perform ad‑hoc tasks as directed by managers.

Required profile

• Fluent English; additional languages are a plus.
• Flexible availability for morning, evening, weekend and seasonal shifts (museum open 365 days a year).
• Enthusiastic, energetic and open‑minded with a passion for art and culture.
