Operations Team Leader

About the role

UPS is seeking an Operations Team Leader to manage a dynamic team in Barcelona. You will be responsible for ensuring excellent customer service, monitoring performance, and driving continuous improvement across daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and train the staff under your supervision.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate project management activities and collaborate with other departments (BaSE, IE, etc.).
• Conduct center and service audits, follow up on findings, and ensure compliance.
• Plan resources, manage holidays, peak‑hour staffing, and aircraft adjustments.
• Support operational functions and liaise with service providers when needed.

Required profile

• Higher vocational training or university degree (completed or in progress).
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Strong leadership, decision‑making, and communication skills.
• Analytical mindset with a curiosity for learning new business areas.
• Flexibility to work the 3:00 – 9:00 shift.
