Plant Supplies Coordinator

About the role

Adient is looking for a Plant Supplies Coordinator in Valladolid. The role covers purchasing activities such as purchase requisitions, purchase orders and invoice approvals, and also includes planning materials to meet the production schedule. It works closely under the direction of senior personnel in the Materials department.

Key responsibilities

• Purchasing: prepare and submit purchase requisitions, follow up on their approval, issue purchase orders to suppliers and document each step of the process
• Approve invoices that cannot be processed due to discrepancies or other issues (e.g. Good Recipe GR)
• Create reports for other departments and maintain the status of approvers
• Determine the quantity and order date of materials needed to meet the production schedule
• Work with vendors to ensure materials are available for production
• Coordinate the transfer of raw materials, parts and finished products between production areas
• Analyze data on current orders, production levels and sales forecasts to estimate future material demand
• Obtain the daily DLQ and use it to provide production data and stock status to logistics
