Process & AI Analyst

About the role

GE Vernova's New Ventures & Strategy team is looking for a Process & AI Analyst to build the dashboards, workflows and AI-enabled tools that help leadership evaluate and advance new business ideas. The role is hands-on and high-visibility: you will personally build working prototypes rather than describe them in slides. It is a remote position.

Key responsibilities

• Own the venture evaluation process: run the day-to-day of a multi-stage pipeline, find friction points and implement fixes.
• Build dashboards and reporting tools from scratch so leadership sees the opportunity pipeline in real time.
• Use AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Copilot or similar) to gather and organise data from multiple sources and refine working tools.
• Create and improve templates and stakeholder questionnaires for evaluating new opportunities.
• Turn leadership's strategy into working processes and tools, capturing lessons learned.
• Run cross-functional sessions with engineering, sourcing, legal and finance colleagues to resolve bottlenecks.
• Brief leadership with clear, concise materials that turn complex information into actionable recommendations.

Required profile

• Experience building things with real ownership, for example in startup operations, a venture studio, technical business operations or a corporate innovation team.
• A portfolio of dashboards, automated workflows or AI-assisted tools you can walk through, including what did not work and what was changed.
• Hands-on experience using AI tools to build working solutions.
• Clear written communication, able to summarise work for leadership (coaching and support available).
• Preferred: financial literacy for basic metrics such as NPV and ROI, experience working across time zones, and a strategy or consulting background.
• A STEM degree (engineering, computer science, physics, applied mathematics or related) is a plus.

Required skills

• Working proficiency with a dashboarding or business intelligence tool such as Power BI or Tableau, and comfort learning new tools quickly.
• Hands-on use of generative AI tools.
