Project Manager for Telecommunication Systems

About the role

Airbus Secure Land Communications is seeking a Project Manager to lead end‑to‑end delivery of secure communication and cybersecurity projects for public and private clients in Spain. You will work within the Operations Department, coordinating with global and local teams to ensure successful design, implementation, and handover of 4G/5G‑based solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of secure communication projects based on 3GPP 4G/5G specifications.
• Guide clients through digital transformation and integration of Airbus critical collaboration and cybersecurity solutions with third‑party equipment.
• Plan and allocate technical and human resources, ensuring timely execution and commissioning.
• Collaborate with sales to define project scope and solution proposals.
• Coordinate with client and operations teams to maintain project schedules and quality standards.

Required profile

• Degree in Telecommunications Engineering, IT or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience managing systems‑integration projects in telecom or IT.
• Familiarity with 3GPP architectures and protocols; experience with cybersecurity systems is a plus.
• Proactive, collaborative mindset with a strong customer focus.
• Fluent written and spoken Spanish and English.
