Project Manager – Space Launch Projects

About the role

PLD Space is seeking a Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of its space launch projects. You will ensure that each project meets schedule, budget, and quality expectations while supporting the company’s mission to provide reliable, cost‑effective access to space.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end project management from initiation to closure, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, resource allocation, and risk management.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, procurement and other departments to define requirements, scope and deliverables.
• Develop detailed project plans, work breakdown structures and schedules aligned with company objectives and customer expectations.
• Monitor progress, identify issues and risks, and implement corrective actions to keep projects on track.
• Communicate status, milestones and deliverables to internal stakeholders, customers and partners.
• Facilitate team meetings, reviews and decision‑making processes to drive results.
• Coordinate with external vendors, subcontractors and partners to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards and quality management systems throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare and present project reports, presentations and documentation for senior management and key stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, aerospace or a related field.
