Renewable Products Operator

About the role

The Trading Operations Team is seeking a Renewable Products Operator to manage the full operational lifecycle of renewable fuel transactions. You will ensure seamless coordination of commercial and logistical activities, supporting the company’s Positive Motion strategy to green revenue streams.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the operational lifecycle of sale and purchase agreements, including cargo nomination and sustainability documentation.
• Organise logistics for deals, covering freight, hire, demurrage collection, charterer approval, and tank management.
• Monitor lifting operations with cargo inspectors to verify quantity and quality, investigate outturn losses, and assess demurrage impacts.
• Blend feedstocks and FAMEs (UCOME, RME, PME, tallow‑based, etc.) to meet specifications such as density, CFPP, iodine value, and sulphur content while optimising cost.
• Coordinate with terminals and refineries on blend ratios, tank compatibility, and traceability for sustainability and quality.
• Maintain understanding of contractual positions and provide regular updates on purchase and sale operations.
• Serve as subject‑matter expert for operational issues and advise on blending capabilities and specification compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Commerce, Chemical Engineering or related field; Master’s in Sustainable Management or Business Administration is a plus.
• 3‑4 years of experience in the oil & gas industry, preferably with renewable product operations.
• Strong knowledge of feedstock and FAME quality parameters, blending logic, and physical trade (incoterms, shipping, legal, terminal operations).
• High‑level proficiency in English and Spanish; additional languages are valuable.
• Analytical, collaborative, and able to build effective relationships.
