Restaurant/Buffet Sector Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Restaurant/Buffet Sector Manager to oversee food and beverage operations at our Occidental Jandía Mar property. The role involves supervising service areas, managing staff, and ensuring high standards of quality and hygiene.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and intervene in restaurant and bar service delivery.
• Plan schedules, control stock levels and organise staff shifts.
• Assign tables to waitstaff and monitor their performance.
• Correct staff actions and facilitate problem‑solving.
• Ensure hygiene, staff presentation and cleanliness of the sector.
• Control mise en place and take customer orders.
• Report any quality or presentation issues to the maître.

Required profile

• Medium or higher vocational training (Ciclo Formativo).
• Minimum 1 year experience as a waiter or in a similar supervisory role.
• High level of English; additional French or German is a plus.
• Strong organisational and team‑management abilities.
• Proven problem‑resolution skills.
