Sales Development Representative (African Region, English Speaking)

About the role

Elastic, the Search AI company, is hiring a Sales Development Representative (SDR) for its African region, based in Barcelona. The SDR engages prospective customers, understands their business challenges and creates quality opportunities for the sales pipeline, working closely with Account Executives and Marketing.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with Account Executives and Marketing to identify target accounts, run strategic campaigns and build pipeline across the territory.
• Engage inbound and outbound prospects through a multi-channel approach, ask questions, uncover challenges and qualify opportunities.
• Use LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Demandbase, Sumble and other sales tools to research accounts, find decision-makers and personalise outreach.
• Build a strong understanding of the Elastic platform and its AI-powered solutions so you can explain business value clearly.
• Take ownership of your own growth through coaching, feedback and enablement.

Required profile

• Sales, sales development or customer-facing experience is a plus but not required; early-career professionals are welcome.
• Fluency in English.
• A coachable mindset, curiosity about technology and business growth, and excellent communication skills by phone, email and LinkedIn.
• Strong organisation, resilience and a collaborative spirit.

What we offer

• Typical starting on-target earnings of EUR 38,700 to 61,300 (base salary plus variable).
