Security Incident Handler – Incident Response Analyst

About the role

Join Airbus Defense and Space's international Incident Response Team in Getafe as a Security Incident Handler. You will manage the full lifecycle of security incidents and support the Security Operations Center (SOC) in delivering high‑quality service.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate SOC alerts and security incidents.
• Improve threat detection and response capabilities.
• Support daily SOC operations and act as part of the on‑call crisis team.
• Perform reverse‑engineering and host forensic analysis.
• Develop use cases, alerts and security tooling.
• Design and coordinate SOC Level 1 and Level 2 processes across countries.
• Conduct follow‑up analysis throughout the incident lifecycle.

Required profile

• Degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• GIAC or comparable certification.
• Fluent English with negotiation‑level proficiency.
• Eligibility for security clearance.
