Senior Internal Auditor

About the role

Join IFF’s Finance – EMEA Internal Audit team as a Senior Internal Auditor, supporting a global leader in flavors, fragrances, food ingredients and health & biosciences. Based in Asturias, Spain or Budapest, Hungary, you will work in a hybrid model to strengthen internal controls and business integrity across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and participate in audits and reviews of corporate and business systems, focusing on internal controls and ethics.
• Discuss audit findings with clients, evaluate results and provide actionable recommendations.
• Prepare detailed finding documentation and audit reports.
• Assist with due‑diligence, acquisition integration, divestitures and joint‑venture activities.
• Network with high‑risk business functions to promote internal‑control awareness.

Required profile

• Fluent English (spoken and written); additional languages a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of finance experience; audit or internal‑control background preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel 20‑30% of the time.

Required skills

• Good knowledge of SAP.
• Experience with SQL, BW, MyBis and SAP Analytics Cloud is a plus.
