Senior Mobile Engineer (React Native)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Mobile Engineer to lead the complete rebuild of Nory's mobile ecosystem using React Native and TypeScript. This remote position will transform legacy Capacitor apps into a high‑performance, offline‑first platform that serves thousands of hospitality workers daily.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the end‑to‑end migration from legacy code to a modern React Native product within 1‑2 quarters.
• Integrate AI‑driven tools to accelerate development while maintaining high code quality.
• Design and maintain a robust mobile architecture that works under poor connectivity, low‑spec hardware, and diverse accessibility requirements.
• Own architectural decisions, including state management and offline synchronization strategies.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience shipping production‑grade React Native applications in TypeScript.
• Proven track record of leading major migrations or greenfield builds.
• Strong product and UX sensibility, especially for high‑pressure, user‑centric environments.
• Experience in HR‑tech, payroll, or high‑usage B2C products is a plus.
