Senior Product Expert - Auto Insurance

About the role

ING is looking for a Senior Product Expert to lead its Auto Insurance product within the Protection Team of the Insurance Tribe. You will develop new customer features and processes, promote the product in the market and act as the "Business Guardian" of the product, working with Risk, Compliance and Legal. You will report to a Product Owner and, in some touchpoints, to the Insurance Tribe Lead.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the lifecycle of the product and its value proposition, ensuring compliance and a positive benefit-cost balance, and support pricing strategies and pricing decisions
• Analyze data to turn it into actionable business insights
• Represent ING Spain before the insurer and with Head Office, sharing best practices across countries
• Design, map and improve the customer journey using the PACE methodology, feeding UX and IT improvements
• Translate business needs into requirements, prioritize initiatives in short cycles, define an initial MVP and manage dependencies and risks
• Identify new digital capabilities and support cybersecurity practices
• Maintain contact with call centers and branches to train staff, gather feedback and ensure targets are met

Required profile

• Master's or bachelor's degree with at least 3 years of professional experience in product design, preferably in insurance or bancassurance
• Curiosity about industry, bank and customer dynamics, proactivity and autonomy
• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset, customer-focused and results-oriented
• Good organizational, oral and written communication skills, ability to work internationally and in an autonomous way
• Very good English; versatility across business domains is a plus
