Senior System Administrator

About the role

Our client is looking for an experienced Senior System Administrator to lead the implementation, optimisation, and ongoing management of Microsoft 365 technologies. The role will support a growing infrastructure function and help roll out a new Information Security Management System.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and manage Microsoft 365 environments, including Intune, Windows Autopilot and the Microsoft Defender suite.
• Develop and maintain M365 tenant architecture to ensure scalability, security and performance.
• Configure policies for device compliance, application deployment and endpoint security.
• Support the Infrastructure Team Lead on critical network projects such as SD‑WAN implementation and global VPN deployment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network and connectivity issues across distributed environments.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to maintain high availability and performance.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience managing and optimising Microsoft 365 tenants.
• Strong hands‑on expertise with Intune, Windows Autopilot and Microsoft Defender.
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, VPN, routing) and experience with enterprise‑level troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with SD‑WAN and global VPN solutions.
