Social Media Filmmaker & Content Creator

About the role

The Shop, the in-house agency of Stanley Black & Decker, is looking for a creative, organised and detail-oriented Social Media Filmmaker & Content Creator. The role is remote, based in Barcelona or Madrid, with travel required for filming and content capture. It involves editing footage captured by the filmmakers, creating content from archive footage and owned media assets, and keeping a well-organised media library.

Key responsibilities

• Develop social-first video and content concepts aligned with brand and campaign objectives.
• Plan and organise shoots, including pre-production, shot lists, schedules, locations and production logistics.
• Travel to locations to capture high-quality content for social media, campaigns, events and product storytelling.
• Film content with digital cameras and lightweight production equipment, keeping brand standards, visual identity and tone of voice in mind.
• Work with editors and post-production partners, delivering footage with final deliverables and platform requirements in mind.
• Support influencer, ambassador and event content capture when needed.
• Monitor social, cultural and industry trends to spot content opportunities.
• Manage several shoots and projects at once, keeping production quality high.
• Maintain organised production workflows, including file management, shot planning and handoff to post-production teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in film, media production, communications or a related field.
• At least 5 years of professional experience creating branded, social or digital content.
• Proven ability to plan and execute shoots from concept through on-location production.
• Experience filming and content capture for social-first platforms.
• Strong understanding of visual storytelling, composition, pacing and platform-specific formats.
• Excellent time management, project management, communication and collaboration skills, able to handle multiple productions and work in cross-functional teams.
