About the role
WeTransfer, now part of Bending Spoons, is looking for a Software Engineer to join its new Madrid office. You will work on high‑impact products used by millions, collaborating with a global team while helping shape the local culture.
Key responsibilities
- Take ideas from concept to production, building systems that serve millions of users.
- Integrate cutting‑edge AI tools into the development workflow to accelerate design, implementation, testing, and documentation.
- Choose and apply the right technologies for each challenge, working across monoliths, micro‑services, gRPC, REST, Kubernetes, Docker, Python and Rust.
- Continuously simplify architectures, pipelines, and codebases to improve scalability and maintainability.
Required profile
- Strong drive to own end‑to‑end product development.
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work within a small, talent‑dense team.
- Willingness to help define the culture and working standards of a new office.
- Passion for building reliable, high‑quality software at scale.
