Technical Project Manager – Change & Environment Governance (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Technical Project Manager with strong change‑management expertise to lead governance activities for the PRE environments supporting the Sparrow programme. This fully remote position is based in Spain and requires at least five years of experience in coordinating complex deployments across multi‑technology landscapes.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and govern changes, deployments, and testing across PRE environments to maintain operational stability.
• Facilitate daily PRE Change Advisory Boards (CABs), reviewing, approving, scheduling, and tracking high‑impact changes and tests.
• Maintain integrated change, deployment, and testing schedules for both project and BAU activities.
• Manage deployments across Java, AWS Cloud, Mainframe, middleware, and distributed platforms.
• Perform daily PRE health checks, governance reporting, and environment status communications.
• Analyse technical issues, coordinate resolutions with support and engineering teams, and ensure risk‑assessed execution of high‑impact changes.
• Oversee data ingestion governance, ensuring compliance with quality, masking, and confidentiality requirements.
• Validate implementation, rollback, contingency, and recovery plans, and conduct post‑implementation reviews.
• Maintain stakeholder relationships with internal technology teams, suppliers, programme teams, and governance forums.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Technical Change Management, Environment Management, Release Management, or IT Operations governance.
• Proven ability to coordinate software deployments and infrastructure changes across multi‑technology environments.
• Strong understanding of ITIL Service Management processes (Change, Incident, Problem, Environment Management).
• Experience facilitating governance forums such as CABs and deployment planning meetings.
• Solid grasp of operational risk, change governance, and best‑practice deployment procedures in enterprise settings.
