Test Facility Technician

About the role

Pangea Propulsion is seeking a Test Facility Technician to join its propulsion test facility in Alguaire (Lleida). You will work hands‑on with propulsion systems, test benches, instrumentation, fluid systems and supporting equipment, ensuring test campaigns are executed safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and configure test benches, fluid systems, instrumentation, ground‑support and safety equipment for test campaigns.
• Support commissioning of new test setups and facility upgrades.
• Assist in the execution of propulsion test campaigns, including control‑room and field activities.
• Conduct pre‑test and post‑test inspections, readiness checks and anomaly investigations.
• Help engineers with troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis.
• Perform routine maintenance, calibration, inspection and repair of valves, pressure systems, piping, sensors, actuators and DAQ hardware.
• Execute preventive‑maintenance plans to keep the facility operational.
