Training Specialist – Amadeus (Travel Industry)

About the role

Exoticca is seeking a Training Specialist with deep knowledge of Amadeus GDS to design, deliver and continuously improve training programs for new hires and existing agents. You will work closely with Operations and Quality teams to ensure agents are equipped with the latest product, process and soft‑skill knowledge.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, develop and deliver induction and refresher training sessions.
• Collaborate with Operations and Quality to assess training needs and create tailored programs.
• Maintain up‑to‑date training content reflecting product, pricing and procedural changes.
• Measure training effectiveness, analyse results and implement improvements.
• Design and evaluate both technical and soft‑skill curricula.
• Create and administer knowledge assessments, analyse outcomes and drive improvement initiatives.
• Facilitate workshops and development sessions as required.

Required skills

• Fluent English (C1/C2) and Spanish (C1/C2).
• Familiarity with Salesforce, order management and contact management systems (plus).
• Expert knowledge of Amadeus GDS, ticketing, reissuance and refund processes.
• IATA or equivalent travel industry certification (desirable).
• Professional training certification (strong plus).
• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, travel, tourism or related field.
