Wide Body VSM Developments Engineer – Temporary

About the role

This temporary position supports Airbus Operations in Getafe on the Wide‑Body VSM Developments programme, acting as a bridge between the A350 development organisation and the Getafe plant.

Key responsibilities

• Interface with the WB A350 Development Programme for RFE components and Getafe plant activities.
• Assess industrial impact of Step 9 and Step 10, identifying risks and opportunities across Manufacturing Engineering, Production, Quality and Logistics.
• Coordinate trans‑functional stakeholders at the Getafe site to ensure clear communication, regular updates and alignment.
• Organise monitoring meetings, prepare dossiers, capture minutes of meetings and produce reports.

Required profile

• Strong communication and team‑spirit, with decision‑making ability.
• Background in programme or project management, especially planning and risk/opss management.
• PMO or Project Management certification highly valued.
• Manufacturing and engineering experience appreciated.
• Knowledge of S19 Constituent Assembly is a plus.
• Fluent English required.
