Workday HCM Delivery Lead

About the role

As a Workday HCM Delivery Lead in Madrid, you will join a team of advisory professionals delivering integrated, cloud-based HR solutions, from rapid deployments to full transformations. You will help clients get the most out of their Workday investment, while taking part in Accenture's shift toward AI and generative AI in Workday delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Manage Workday HCM and/or FIN implementations end-to-end, using project management and stakeholder management skills
• Manage senior client stakeholders, engagement financials and the overall quality of delivery for Workday Phase 1 and/or X engagements
• Use proven processes, tools and assets to deliver engagements on time and within budget
• Lead and coach consultants and take part in pre-sales cycles for new and existing Workday clients
• Shape solutions using Workday's native AI and machine learning, apply GenAI-enabled accelerators to speed design, testing and documentation, and contribute to Accenture's library of AI-powered Workday assets

Required profile

• At least 5 years' experience in HR system and/or ERP implementation
• Experience leading diverse onshore, nearshore and offshore teams and in large complex system transformations
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, fluency in English and minimum B1 Spanish
• Ability to meet client travel requirements and manage a team and client interactions

Required skills

• End-to-end management of Workday (Phase 1 and/or Phase X) implementations
• At least 2 delivered Workday program and project engagements
• Stakeholder, resource, financial, PMO and quality management
• Certification in Workday PM/EM and/or other project management or agile methodologies (a plus)
