A350 WLC Quality Line Conformance Manager

About the role

The Quality Line Conformance Manager will join Airbus' A350 Wing Lower Cover production team in Illescas. As the primary guardian of product integrity, you will lead quality standards, manage critical customer interfaces, and drive both immediate incident resolution and long‑term strategic improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Resolve urgent quality incidents on the production line and lead cross‑functional Practical Problem Solving (PPS) teams.
• Act as the main Quality focal point for the customer, coordinating multifunctional teams to address quality complaints.
• Define product quality requirements for inspection dossiers and manage the Quality Authorizations framework.
• Enforce industry‑defined Quality Standards, overseeing Quality Escapes, Audits, Manufacturing Non‑Conformances, and Concessions.
• Lead innovation and digitalisation projects to streamline quality processes.
• Integrate with the Component Delivery Team to align quality milestones with production goals and serve as an internal SME/coach for Aviation Safety.

Required profile

• Degree in Aeronautical, Industrial or Mechanical Engineering.
• 1–3 years of experience in a high‑demand manufacturing environment.
• Advanced English (C1) and strong interpersonal and conflict‑resolution abilities.
• Previous exposure to the aerospace sector and familiarity with standards such as SARI/SMS is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Quality Management tools: PFMEA, MSA, Control Plans.
• Ability to draft technical documentation and workflow diagrams.
