Accountant – Hybrid (Barcelona)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our Finance team in Barcelona on a hybrid basis. You will focus on analytical review of trade transactions, ensuring accurate accounting and supporting the company’s EBITDA reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate complex accounting processes and assess their impact on the P&L.
• Analyse financial discrepancies from both automatic and manual processes.
• Enhance data analytics to provide deeper insights for stakeholders.
• Optimise work papers and accounting procedures proactively.
• Review year‑to‑date trends, detect inconsistencies, and communicate findings.
• Maintain database integrity and ensure accurate accounting flows.
• Support stakeholders on accounting matters, EBITDA follow‑up, and new product integration.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience in accounting and financial analysis.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to work under pressure.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Comfortable handling large volumes of data.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
