Accountant – Hybrid (Barcelona)

About the role
We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our Finance team in Barcelona on a hybrid basis. You will focus on analytical review of trade transactions, ensuring accurate accounting and supporting the company’s EBITDA reporting.
Key responsibilities
- Investigate complex accounting processes and assess their impact on the P&L.
- Analyse financial discrepancies from both automatic and manual processes.
- Enhance data analytics to provide deeper insights for stakeholders.
- Optimise work papers and accounting procedures proactively.
- Review year‑to‑date trends, detect inconsistencies, and communicate findings.
- Maintain database integrity and ensure accurate accounting flows.
- Support stakeholders on accounting matters, EBITDA follow‑up, and new product integration.
Required profile
- Minimum 4 years of experience in accounting and financial analysis.
- Strong analytical mindset and ability to work under pressure.
- Fluent in English and Spanish.
- Comfortable handling large volumes of data.
Required skills
- Advanced Excel proficiency.
