AI Engineering Manager / Delivery Lead

About the role

IQVIA is looking for an Engineering Manager / Delivery Lead to own end-to-end delivery of Agentic AI solutions within AI & Technology Solutions (ATS) and Clinical AI & Technology Innovation (CAITI). As part of the Core Development Team, the manager is the single point of accountability for delivery execution, from Proof of Concept through Production, working closely with the AI Product Manager, Solution Architect, Tech Lead and Program Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Translate product scope and architectural direction into delivery plans, sprint cadence and milestones
• Drive day-to-day engineering delivery, manage dependencies, resolve issues and remove blockers
• Ensure delivery readiness across environments, CI/CD, quality gates, validation and release governance
• Coordinate internal teams and vendors as a single delivery unit, and act as delivery owner for vendor work (integration, quality, timelines)
• Partner with Product, Architecture, QA, Validation and Program Management on regulatory, quality and governance expectations
• Provide transparent delivery reporting, surface risks early and support release and rollout execution
• Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary engineering team (AI, data and platform engineers), including performance management

Required profile

• 7+ years in engineering delivery roles, owning end-to-end delivery in complex systems
• Bachelor's degree with 10+ years, or Master's degree with 7+ years, in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field
• Proven experience delivering Agentic AI, AI-enabled or data-intensive platforms, including reasoning, orchestration, retrieval or automation components
• Experience delivering AI solutions in regulated or highly governed enterprise environments
• Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and external vendors across prototype, MVP and production stages

Required skills

• Strong understanding of Agentic SDLC / ADLC concepts and agent lifecycle management
• Practical understanding of CI/CD for agentic systems, including controlled releases and rollback strategies
• Proficiency in Python, Java or Scala, with strong understanding of data structures and algorithms
