Assistant Manager, Barcelona Store

About the role

Abercrombie & Fitch Co. is hiring an Assistant Manager for its Barcelona store. The role combines business strategy, operations, creativity and people management: driving sales through analysis and customer service, overseeing daily store operations, and leading the team from recruitment and training to engagement and development. Assistant managers are expected to grow into future store leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Perform opening and closing routines
• Supervise the sales floor and stockroom, ensuring excellent customer service and smooth operations
• Handle staffing, scheduling, payroll management and train and develop non-management staff
• Demonstrate product knowledge and brand awareness while driving sales
• Build and maintain visual displays and analyze reporting to inform decisions
• Protect store assets, run inventory control and operate register and point-of-sale systems
• Fulfill omnichannel orders and represent the brand and company culture

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree OR one year of supervisory experience in a customer-facing role
• Fluency in English and Spanish (CEFR B2), required
• Strong customer focus, knowledge of current fashion trends and a strong work ethic
• Ability to coach others, take initiative and balance multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
