Business Communications Specialist

About the role

ABB is looking for a Business Communications Specialist in Oiartzun, reporting to the Business Communications Manager. The role involves proposing and implementing communication plans and running communications activities through all available tools, within group guidelines, directives, messages and the approved budget. It is a hybrid position.

Key responsibilities

• Create creative concepts for communications activities in line with ABB brand guidelines.
• Create and edit promotional content for different media channels.
• Coordinate the development, production and publication of brochures, videos and other print and digital materials supporting sales and product launches.
• Develop website content for ABB and the new Niessen brand website.
• Manage the production and distribution of internal and external customer newsletters.
• Support community management through social media content.
• Collaborate with internal and external communications networks to share best practices.

Required profile

• Degree in Business Administration and/or Communications.
• One to two years of experience in communications.
• Initiative-driven, innovative mindset with a strong sense of ownership.
• Good command of English.

Required skills

• Content creation and design tools such as Adobe Express, Clipchamp, Photoshop and Canva (an advantage).
• TYPO3 CMS (an advantage).
• Generative AI tools such as Copilot and Adobe Firefly for content development and copywriting (an advantage).
