Business Expert – Market to Order Digital Solutions

About the role

As a Business Expert BEX you will lead the ongoing development and design of digital processes and solutions within BASF's Market to Order area. You will work in a global team to enhance the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform and the Digital Commerce Platform, driving user adoption and delivering value for the Petrochemicals division.

Key responsibilities

• Take global responsibility for the design and continuous improvement of Market to Order digital solutions, including Salesforce and the Digital Commerce Platform.
• Collaborate with regional business units to increase user adoption of the CRM solution and implement the Platform for Customer Service.
• Manage projects, budgets and timelines, ensuring alignment with division goals.
• Represent the division’s interests across BASF-wide expert communities and projects.

Required profile

• University degree in economics or computer science.
• Proven experience in delivering digital solutions and handling data (e.g., Power BI, programming).
• Strong background in global project and change management.
• Excellent English communication skills and ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Quick learner with a structured, conceptual problem‑solving approach.
• Commercial experience or prior work with Salesforce is a plus.
