About the role

Join the Barceló Group as a substitute waiter/waitress in Las Palmas. You will support the food and beverage service team, ensuring guests receive prompt and friendly service in a fast‑paced hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with the service and sale of food and beverages, maintaining autonomy and responsibility.
• Perform auxiliary tasks, keep work areas and utensils clean, and prepare stations for service.
• Set up tables, banquet boards, chairs, and other furniture for restaurants, cafés, bars, or conventions.
• Collaborate with the team to deliver excellent customer service.
• Support billing and payment collection processes.

Required profile

• Interest in the hospitality sector; prior experience is not mandatory but valued.
• Ability to work in a high‑tempo environment and adapt to night, weekend, and holiday shifts.
• Physical capacity to move beer barrels, carry trays, and stand for extended periods.
• Team‑oriented mindset with a willingness to learn.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of bar products, including various beers and mixed drinks.
